Welcome to the Commercial Advocates Forum, an interactive community sponsored by the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Acquisition Reform).

    The Commercial Advocates Forum was developed to assist Department of Defense commercial advocates in promoting the acquisition of commercial items and the use of commercial practices. Its primary purpose is to disseminate information to front-line buyers, to enable exchanges of questions and answers, and to share best practices and lessons learned. The Forum also enables feedback on new policy initiatives and legislation.

    This redesigned site merges the resources of the original Forum with information on the rapid improvement teams and pilot programs that have been, and continue to be, implemented as a result of the Section 912(c) Commercial Business Environment Study Group's recommendations. The result is a knowledge management infrastructure offering resources in support of commercial advocacy.
